Help us make a difference!
With the continued support of donors like you, Span is able to provide intensive, one-on-one support services to more than 1200 men and women annually as they transition out of prison and into society.
Invest in your community! Through your donation, you will help Span give clients the tools they need to achieve healthy, productive and meaningful lives.
Thank you for helping Span ensure our communities and families can safely thrive.

IN-KIND DONATIONS |

Gift Cards
98%
of Span clients have access to very little or no income for up to six months
post-release. Span uses gift cards to provide both concrete assistance and
incentives for such clients who actively participate in our rehabilitation
services. For example: ***Stop and Shop or other food store gift cards help a client eat until their food stamp benefits come through, or until they find a job.
Your food donation will help support our daily Drop-In Center client lunches. The center is a safe space, where clients get a good meal, celebrate personal accomplishments, and concurrently relearn positive social skills after their release from prison. Consider donating food yourself or sponsor a food drive at work or among your friends and family. MBTA Passes Especially when first released, and while we are assisting them to obtain work and temporary housing, our clients need MBTA passes to get around town to job interviews, medical and other appointments. Other Items Needed We can’t do our work to help our clients without basic functional office equipment. Right now we need a new printer and a new fax machine! If you would like to contribute these or other types of in-kind donations, please contact Laurie Bloom at lbloom@spaninc.org or at 617-423-0750.
