Span, Inc. is a non-profit agency that specializes in assisting those who are or have been in prison to achieve healthy, productive, and meaningful lives.

Established in 1978, Span has provided one-on-one, intensive support services to over 7,000 men and women in need. We believe that with the appropriate tools and the ability to use them wisely, people who have been in prison are able to change their lives.

Span Offers a Fiscally Smart Solution to the Cycle of Imprisonment:

-$42,000 Massachusetts' average annual cost to imprison one state inmate.¹

-$4,000 Span's average annual cost to help one client stay out of prison

Antonio, or Tony as he is known around Span, got involved with Span services more than a year ago.
